Decision Makers: Following ongoing profit losses, the company has made former Tavelex director Tommy Jordan its new UK CEO. He has served as the lenders' UK commercial director since October 2015. Jordan succeeds Tara Kneafsey, whom was promoted to group CEO.


Kia Motors

Decision Maker: Welcomes former Toyota marketer David Hilbert as its UK marketing director from 01 September. His role will involve making "the Kia brand even more surprising and satisfying," he said. 



Decision Maker: On it's last leg on the vulnerable account could be on a new path as boss Adam Paker departs after two years. A search for a replacement will begin in September and COO Jane Nickerson will become interim chief until one is named.

Spectrum Brands

Decision Maker: Appointed Paul Clarke as sales and marketing director for the UK batteries and hardware division of Spectrum Brands, including VARTA Consumer Batteries and Stanley Padlocks. He succeeds Anthony Sewart, who has become head of EU sales for the newly-created Global Autocare Division.

The Hut Group

Decision Maker: Promoted Wing Yung Chan to CMO after he's spent the last 10 months as group marketing director.  This comes after the company increased digital advertising. Anwar Sultan joined as marketing director over the prestige division in June, simultaneous to a few promotions within the luxury division.



Decision Maker: Promoted Julian Griffith to EMEA marketing director and Lauren Robertson to group head of digital marketing on the heels of raising $30m to fuel a global expansion initiative. The funding round, led by Highland Europe, will help the company further invest in the SME market and pursue additional acquisitions. 

These latest hires and funding round follow the start of Debra Ward, who joined as the EMEA MD in September as Condeco began ramping up its UK growth efforts. 



Decision Maker: Appointed former Aviva digital director Heather Smith as digital transformation director to work across LV='s general insurance direct and broker business


Jumeirah Group

Decision Maker: Appointed Mr Yousef Tuqan as the new group vice president of brand marketing and loyalty, based in Dubai. He has a history with the luxury brand, leading the digital account team 15 years ago, and is now looking forward to lead Jumeirah's evolution.
