Campaigns Imminent: Total taps Fox Agency for integrated biz

Company: Total, a French company and one of the biggest oil companies in the world. 

Opportunity: Appointed Fox Agency to handle an integrated account for the Total Lubricants division. The company had been behind on digital ad spend until the last month, when video ad spend increased compared to last year. There's a heavy programmatic mix associated with buying strategies on both desktop and video ads, but site-direct is still in the double-digits on desktop. 

Sellers should approach decision makers, including newly-promoted Europe VP Dave Cranfield and Corporate Gas and Power Marketing VP Emmanuel Reboulet.

Digital Breakdown: Per Pathmatics, Total has spent £14k on desktop ads so far this year, down from £92k spent during the same period last year. Video ad spend has increased year-on-year with £58k spent so far this year, up from £42k last year. 

Desktop was split with 46% running through the DSPs Amnet Group, RadiumOne and DoubleClick, 16% running through Google's ad network, Yahoo! Advertising and Adara Media and 37% running site-direct. The majority of last year's digital ads ran through a DSP. Top destinations this year were, and
