Just last month, Pathmatics shows consistent digital spending throughout the last two years. From 2015 to last year, the company flopped video emphasis for desktop ads.
Sellers should be all over this. TV, digital and outdoor are heavy pillars and Molson Coors will likely spend from Q2-Q4.
Media Spend: In 2015, the brewer spent £18.7m was spent on TV (£8.9m), outdoor (£7.9m), cinema (£1.5m), press and digital. While in H1 2016, £5.4m was spent on TV and another million was spread across outdoor, digital, radio and press.
Digital Breakdown: Last year, according to Pathmatics, SAB Miller & Molson Coors spent £807k on video ads that gained 51m impressions. Of those, 80 per cent were placed site direct and top publishers included youtube.com, filmweb.pl, wp.pl and dailymail.co.uk.
This is a slight increase from 2015 when £1.1m was spent on desktop and video ads that generated 48m in impression counts.
Target Market: Millennial and Gen-Y individuals, often men.
