Chevron searches for marketing exec to help with field marketing
Subject: Digital, Video, Display, Online, PR.
Company: Chevron, headquartered in Ramon, California with offices in London, England and around the world is a global gas and oil company that provides energy solutions to consumers.
Opportunity: Just a heads up that Chevron wants to hire a marketing executive to work with the director of marketing in High Wycombe. The person hired for this role will help out its current field marketing team in creating and implementing “a range of marketing activities across Europe,” according to the job description.
The job description also says the marketer will be involved in its digital strategy, new product launches, raising the PO for all marketing activities and monitoring actual spends against Chevron’s marketing and advertising budget. It sounds like Chevron is looking to bolster its marketing team and roll out new marketing, so get in touch now.
Digital Breakdown: Moat UK reports that Chevron has run 82 standard display, 2 high impact and 1 video ads since June 2014. These ran with 419 publisher total, 45% of which saw the benefit of being published directly, rather than through an ad server such as Sizmek, DoubleClick- DFP or Advertising.com. Most of the mobile and desktop ads ran in December with some built up activity in November, on portals, sports, large and local papers publishers. Video ads ran in Feb. and March.
Media Spend: Spent much less in Nielsen-tracked media spend last year, down to £0.02m from £1.4m in 2013. Press, Internet and TV advertising are where Nielsen says its budget goes.
Agency Roster: Our sources show relationships with MEC London and Blue Rubicon.
