Company: The gaming company recently announced four promotions within its UK marketing team, led by long-time Marketing Director Mark Slaughter. Brand Manager Oliver Coe was promoted from his previous role of junior brand manager, which Mr Will Buck then filled. Additionally, Ubisoft promoted Ben Talbot to senior digital manager, formerly digital manager, and Junior PR manager David Burroughs was promoted from PR executive.

Creative, digital and especially PR agencies should keep watch after the company  last year. The gaming retailer is updating its game The Division, planning a Watch Dogs 2 and will release Just Dance by 2017. Media Spend: Spent over £1.2m in total measured media last year, spending the most in cinema, radio and outdoor with some devoted to press and digital. This is a drastic decline from the £7.7m spent in 2014.

Digital Breakdown: The Assassin's Creed owner has run 64 standard, 100 high impact and 31 video ads this year. These ads (11% mobile) have run with 541 publishers, 83% running via programmatic. Key publishers were webkindz.com, girlsgogames.com, myhorse.com, gamesradar.com. Most of the display activity took place in the first half of the year, with video increasing in May and mobile spotlighting towards the end of Oct. 

Target Market: Gaming obsessed children and millennial males are appealed to, but not to be overlooked, female gamers make up almost half of the market.
