Note that ENO has cut back on its performances to eight this year, but plans are to grow productions at the London Coliseum back to nine and then 10 in 2017/18 (fiscal year begins in April). The venue hopes to target younger audiences through multi-channel broadcast across TV, radio and live as well as offering more affordable tickets in some cases.

Media Spend: Spent £188k during the first half of 2016, mostly in outdoor with support in digital, press and cinema. In 2015, the annual total was £323k with most of it spent during the first half. 

Experience: Mr Jarvis joined after a contract role as ODEON and UCI Cinemas, where he was senior manager of partnerships and promotions. He was at Turner before that as an interim brand director. Digital Breakdown: Last year, ENO spent £103k on digital channels last year, down from £243k the year before, according to Pathmatics. Last year's peak spending occurred in Q2, unlike 2015's Q4 push. Furthermore, the majority of last year's budget favoured direct publishers unlike the year before where DSPs were more prevalent. Exchanges and DSPs used last year were AppNExus, RadiumOne, DoubleClick and MediaMath. Top destinations were timeout.com/london, theguardian.com, reddit.com and dailymail.co.uk.
