Male Digital Engagement Opps: Footasylum ups ad spend this B2S season

Company: Footasylum, a leading streetwear and footwear brand with more than 40 high street stores.
Opportunity: On the heels of promoting its own eCommerce marketer Joe Turner to head up digital marketing efforts, the brand has spent £20k this year, according to Pathmatics. Marking the first year the brand has been on the digital map, targeting strategies have been all over the place.
On desktop (chart seen to the right), the brand ran mostly indirect on sites including mangareader.net, ebay.co.uk and flightradar24.com. So far these efforts have won the brand more than 3m impressions. Mobile, which was skewed more towards site-direct (88%) had only 648k impressions on sites such as goal.com, aol.com and 123srv.com.
Video has also seen a site-direct-led strategy (76%) with ads appearing on sites scotsman.com, tvguide.co.uk and kizi.com.
As we approach the key Christmas shopping and gifting season, look for more pounds here and elsewhere. Be sure you're part of planning (Q1) ahead of next year's back-to-school season (August and early September), as well.
Note the brand is pushing forth efforts to be a national retailer and could be ready for bigger campaigns by early 2017, so sellers (and agencies) in other areas would do well approaching, too.
