BMO GAM

Decision Maker: Richard Wilson is leaving his post as CEO of the EMEA business to become chief executive officer and chief investment officer of the global division. There is no replacement yet. Mr Wilson became chief executive of the EMEA business in May 2014, after BMO acquired F&C Asset Management, where held the same role and rebranded as BMO Global Asset Management.

Decision Maker: Appointed Leasedrive Group veteran Matt Lenton as marketing director, effective immediately, as the group embarks on ambitious growth and expansion plans. Decision Maker: Hired Andy Newhall as head of marketing just as the group enters its prime season for holiday travellers.

City & Guilds

Decision Makers: The group confirmed that longtime marketer David Morgan, most recently director of marketing and customer experience, has departed. At the same time, former Pearson marketer David Phillips has joined as director of product and marketing and the Kineo arm is on the hunt for a new global head of marketing. Additionally, Stefan Harris recently left as a brand marketer after teaming with Brandit Global to help the group's in-house marketing team. Agencies should expect some changes to City & Guilds' engagement and marketing strategy with a new top-level marketer at the helm and another on the way.

Decision Maker: Hired former Selfridges senior brand marketer Suzanne Walters as global head of marketing and communications to lead in-house marketing and communications team in London and New York.

Decision Maker: Appointed 25-year automotive marketing veteran Roger Evans as the sales and marketing director to create a strategy that will “enhance Nexus' market-leading position” ahead of ambitious plans, he commented on his hire. This newest arrival completes the Board of Directors, which recently gained former international IBM executive, Bernie Waldron, as its chairman.

National Football League

Decision Maker: A year into her role as Head of Marketing for NFL UK, Sarah Swanson is bolstering the local commercial, sponsorship and consumer products team. This sees VP of UK Commercial Partnerships Melissa Brown, a 15-year sales and marketing exec, join to build brand relationships at a time when the league is poised for much success.

Decision Maker: One year into its vulnerable status, the company has put together a new senior management for the Harry Potter Global Franchise Development (HPGFD). This sees Polly Cochrane promoted to EVP and group marketing director, Warner Bros. U.K. and Ireland, and chief marketing officer, HPGFD. She'll lead the global brand strategy and guidelines, partnered with J.K. Rowling's representatives at The Blair Partnership and Warner Bros. business units.
