Media Spend: Last year, Morrisons spent over £4.3 million on media across TV, press and direct mail, with some put towards outdoor, radio and digital. Early 2016 is seeing similar spending with more in digital.
Digital Breakdown: In the last 12 months, according to Moat, the supermarket has run 143 standard display ads on 723 publishers, with most displayed programmatically as only 21% were site direct. Additionally, 99 high impact ads and 49 video ads were run. This is a slight decrease from year to date 2014 but again, Q1 of this year has already seen a digital increase. News, technology and computers are the top publishing categories.
